Creative Process: Behind Enemy Lines Jacket

in Feb 12, 2020

The State Of Flux workshop is the perfect place for our crew to conceptualize, construct, and experiment with new products. Sometimes the items that we work on go into production and are eventually offered for purchase at our shop. And other times they never make it to see the light of day. But isn't that the beauty of the creative process? If you ask us, we'll give you an emphatic -- YES! In our eyes, our workshop is like a science lab and we're the group of mad scientists hard at work.

The best part about our experimentation and creation, is that we get to offer you customized, limited products. Our Behind Enemy Lines Jacket that we’ve been working on for the past few weeks is the perfect example of this. For this piece, we first started with individually cut stencils. From there, we used each stencil to hand paint our designs on each jacket. The placement of the designs are randomized, which makes each jacket unique.
