This fall, State Of Flux is excited to welcome Melbourne-based label Jungles Jungles into our curated mix of brands.
Founded in 2015 by Jack Ferguson, Jungles Jungles started out printing t-shirts in his backyard, as noted in a recent Fashion Journal article. After getting picked up by influential retailers like Dover Street Market, the brand rapidly grew into an in-demand global streetwear label.
Their graphic-heavy collections offer a portal to alternate realms where escapism reigns. As Jack explained to Fashion Journal, each season brings a new fantastical subject matter, but the underlying vibe remains the same - transportive worlds where anything is possible.
Expect intergalactic adventures, mystical creatures, and surreal dreamscapes rendered in eye-catching prints and slogans. Jack built the brand without any formal training, learning as he went and surrounding himself with talented staff, according to the recent Fashion Journal article.
His perseverance paid off with Jungles Jungles gaining stockists in 17 countries and collaborations with influential names like X-Girl and Keith Haring Foundation.
While selling clothes, Jungles Jungles marches to the beat of its own drum. Unconstrained by fashion industry norms, the label focuses on being uniquely itself, Jack told Fashion Journal. This renegade spirit resonates with the State Of Flux ethos.
We can't give too much away just yet, but let's just say the Jungles Jungles FW23 collection launching on September 27 has an intriguing title - "I Tried To Sell My Soul, but the Line Was Too Long" according to the brand's founder.
