This past weekend, San Francisco clothing brand State Of Flux had the exciting opportunity to participate in the 2nd annual SF Made Maker Market at the Ferry Building. This incredible event organized by SF Made and the city's Office of Economic and Workforce Development, was a vibrant showcase of over 40 local businesses that design, produce, and manufacture their products right here in San Francisco.
Among the fantastic makers present, State Of Flux stood out with our high quality, mission-driven clothing and accessories. In fact, we were featured in an article about the event published in the San Francisco Chronicle on October 7th. The article highlighted our co-founder Herbert Gracia and his inspiring perspective on keeping State Of Flux's operations local: "[We want to] invest back into the community. And if more people that look like us have businesses here, more kids like us can have the chance to do a little more, too." You can check out the full article HERE.
This quote resonated with many, including San Francisco's own Mayor London Breed who shared it on her Instagram and expressed how proud she is of homegrown businesses like ours. The positive response from the local community has been incredibly heartwarming.
We are truly grateful for events like SF Made Maker Market that allow small enterprises in San Francisco to come together and celebrate all the creativity and passion that makes this city so special. State Of Flux was thrilled to participate and we look forward to many more opportunities to engage with our fellow makers. Stay tuned for future events!
Fearlessly,
