The Valencia Corridor is the longest stretch of independent retail in the US, and it’s extremely important that we all do our part to help our neighbors thrive this holiday season. Our area is a destination catered to those who want to support small businesses, while purchasing truly unique products from local brands. Nothing against your local shopping mall but the Valencia Corridor is totally different in the sense that the dollars spent here go directly toward the local economy. And to us, that’s both necessary and dope!
There are so many amazing businesses along Valencia Street and it's important that they're there for us when we need them. So this year (and into the new year), let's give back by supporting our local small businesses.
The next time you’re visiting the State Of Flux Shop, make sure you check out some of these neighboring small businesses we frequent below:
826 Valencia
826 Valencia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting under-resourced students ages six to eighteen with their creative and expository writing skills and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.

Locally owned and operated, we bring a creative artist space and team to carry out the most innovative and highly executed hair services in the industry.
System
System is a retail concept that explores design through multiple disciplines. Our product selection is a broad but edited mix of apparel, footwear, accessories, and industrial design goods, finding commonality between performance, craft, utility, and ideation.
This is just a handful of the independent retailers/businesses on our street. Make sure you check out the Valencia Corridor soon to find your new favorite spot!!
Fearlessly,
